REPLACEMENTS
Most cars will need a windscreen replaced at least twice in their driving lifetime, some may never need it.
But if you are unlucky it may happen every year. Due to sandblasting caused by road grit some need replacing regularly.
For some vehicles such as trucks and rental cars, that clock up high mileage its a regular occurrence.
Its extremely important that the replacement process is carried out as per the manufacturers specification.
There are many mistakes that inexperienced and careless( here today gone tomorrow) technicians make, that will not be around when the problems of their workmanship reveal themselves. (SEE GALLERY PHOTOS)

Modern cars are very different to cars made only ten years ago or so they are extremely light in order to achieve fuel efficiency, glass is much cheaper to produce than steel so as a result there is much more glass being used in cars today.
Windscreens are a structural component of modern vehicles, airbags rely on windscreens being correctly installed, incorrect installation can cause structural weakness caused by component separation to due poor adhesion and corrosion of the body. Worst of all a dangerous non roadworthy vehicle.
The latest vehicles have anti-collision cameras and infra-red sensors, these must be re-calibrated after a windscreen replacement. Of course this adds to the overall cost. But we will strive to make this as easy as possible.
Here at Fast Windscreens we use only the best quality adhesives, (SIKA) and corrosion inhibitors, (primers).
Some technicians say “primers are not necessary we use primer less adhesive“ This is incorrect!
Primer less refers to the glass only, not the body. The body must ALWAYS be primed with corrosion inhibitor.
Otherwise rust WILL occur, and once it’s there it will always be there, causing thousands of dollars damage.
The best way to prevent this is to deal with an experienced technician, with a open and honest business that explains all the steps along the process of replacing your windscreen in your second most expensive investment after your house.
